The learning outcomes for this session are:
Making an informed decision – is this the career for me?
Understand the role of a firefighter, what the job entails and the demands of the job.
Understand the shift patterns, structure and daily routines.
Understand the training and requirements for the apprenticeship.
Understand the fitness requirements and physical tests.
Experience of the practical elements associated with the fitness requirement including the physical tests at recruitment.
