Open Day at Maidenhead Fire Station

Maidenhead Fire Station will be hosting a fun-filled Open Day on Sunday, 23 June between 10am and 4pm.

The plans for the event include:
• Demonstrations from partners (Police, Ambulance, Berkshire Lowland Search & Rescue – BLSAR, Redcross)
• Demonstrations on RTCs and from the fire cadets
• Activity stalls for kids around fire safety, facepainting and have a go as a firefighter.
• Information stalls around job opportunities within the Service and as an on–call firefighter.
• Food and ice cream stalls from local businesses.
• Show and tell around the role of firefighters from staff.
• Specialist appliances for show and tell from around the service. (Boat Crews and Heavy Rescue Crews).

This event will be free to attend.

Please note that parking will not be available on site.

Please use public transport where possible or if driving, Hines Meadow Car park, located near Sainsbury’s approximately a four-minute walk away.
