Take What You Need Day
Firefighters from Whitley Wood Fire Station have been collecting donations to provide to those in need.
If you know someone in need, ask them to come along to Whitley Wood Fire Station, Reading between 10am and 3pm on Saturday, 19 October.
This collection has been organised primarily at those in need, however everyone is welcome to come along. All items are free, however, we are collecting money for the Children’s Ward (Buscot Ward) at the Royal Berkshire Hospital so there will be a bucket for small change if people are able to donate.
A whole range of items have been collected, including:
👚 Clothing for babies, children and maternity wear
🧩 Toys, games and puzzles
🧥 Hats, jackets and coats
👞 Shoes and boots
