At 12:28pm on Tuesday, 18 June, we received reports of an animal in need of rescue on Brunel Road in Maidenhead.
A Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crew from Bracknell Fire Station was sent to the scene.
Upon arrival, the crew discovered a cat trapped in the engine compartment of the car. Firefighters rescued the cat before placing it in the care of its owner.
The crew was at the scene for approximately one hour and 28 minutes.
