At 6:58am on Thursday, 20 June, we received reports of an animal in need of rescue on Moorland Way in Maidenhead.
A Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crew from Maidenhead Fire Station was sent to the scene.
Upon arrival, the crew discovered a deer trapped in a fence. Firefighters used hydraulic gear to free the deer from the fence.
The crew was at the scene for approximately five minutes.
