At 9:12pm on Tuesday, 4 March, we received reports of a chimney fire on Wilderness Road in Earley.
One Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crew from Wokingham Road Fire Station was sent to the scene.
Upon arrival, crews found a small chimney fire in the property. Firefighters put out the fire and made the scene safe, before installing smoke alarms in the property and giving fire safety advice to the homeowners.
They were on scene for approximately 39 minutes.
