At 6:16pm on Sunday, 8 January 2022, we received reports of a fire at a commercial premises on Station Road in Langley.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Wokingham, Mortimer, Crowthorne, Slough, Langley, Maidenhead, Windsor and Wokingham Road fire stations attended the incident, alongside two Officers and the Incident Command Unit from Maidenhead Fire Station and the High Volume Pump from Bracknell. Crews from London Fire Brigade and Buckinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service also attended the incident.
Upon arrival, crews discovered an industrial fire involving tyres, wooden pallets and heavy goods vehicles. Firefighters used four main jets, a hose reel and a water shuttle to extinguish the fire.
Crews were on the scene of the incident for approximately 10 hours and 55 minutes before returning to inspect for hotspots.
