At 11:40am on Monday, 9 October, we received reports of a fire at a recycling centre on Island Road, Reading.
Crews from Whitley Wood, Caversham Road and Wokingham Road were sent to the scene, alongside two Officers.
Upon arrival, crews found a fire affecting 5 tonnes of cardboard. Four firefighters in breathing apparatus ued a jet to extinguish the fire and then ventilated the area.
Crews were on the scene for just under 4 hours.
