At 4:05pm on Sunday, 18 December, we received reports of a fire at a domestic property on Salisbury Road, Reading.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Wokingham Road, Whitley Wood, and Theale fire stations were sent to the scene.
Upon arrival, crews found a fire affecting the ground-floor bathroom of the property.
Two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus extinguished the fire using a hose reel and were on the scene for approximately one hour and 22 minutes.
