At 8:21am on Thursday, 25 July, we received reports of a fire on Valon Close in Arborfield.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Wokingham, Crowthorne and Bracknell fire stations were sent to the scene.
Upon arrival, crews found a fire in a two-storey, semi-detached home. Firefighters equipped with breathing apparatus used two hose reels to extinguish the fire before ventilating smoke from the property with a fan.
Crews were at the scene for approximately one hour and 47 minutes. An investigation into the cause of the fire is underway.
