At 6:19am on Thursday, 31 October, we received reports of a house fire on St Mark’s Road in Maidenhead.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Maidenhead, Windsor and Slough fire stations attended the scene alongside two Officers and an Incident Command Unit from Maidenhead Fire Station.
Upon arrival, crews found a garage on fire that had spread to the roof of the house. Eight firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used two hose reels and one jet to extinguish the flames. One person was placed in the care of South Central Ambulance Service.
