Fire in Maidenhead

At 7:07am on Saturday, 22 June, we received reports of a fire on Connaught Close in Maidenhead.

Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Slough, Maidenhead and Ascot fire stations were sent to the scene alongside a crew from Buckinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service.

Upon arrival, crews discovered a fire in a two storey building. Firefighters equipped with breathing apparatus used one hose reel to extinguish the fire before ventilating smoke from the property with a fan.

Crews were at the scene for approximately one hour.
