At 10:15pm on Monday, 26 August, we received a report of a fire on Butts Hill Road in Woodley.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Caversham Road, Wokingham Road and Whitley Wood fire stations were sent to the scene.
Upon arrival, crews discovered a small fire in the kitchen at the property. Firefighters used a thermal imaging camera and one hose reel to extinguish fire. Firefighters then ventilated the property.
Crews were on the scene for around one hour and 14 minutes.
