At 2.02pm on Saturday, 29 June, we received reports of a fire on Waterloo Road, Wokingham.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Wokingham Road, Bracknell, Whitley Wood, Ascot, Wokingham were sent to the scene, together with crews from Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service and Surrey Fire and Rescue Service. Two Officers and an Incident Command Unit were also sent to the scene.
Firefighters found a significant fire at a domestic property spreading to multiple outbuildings. All occupants were safely evacuated from the property before crews’ arrival.
Crews wearing breathing apparatus extinguished the fire and were on the scene for approximately 4 hours and 10 minutes, before returning for a reinspection.
