At 4:23pm on Sunday, 18 August, we received reports of a house fire on Longleat Gardens in Maidenhead.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Maidenhead, Slough and Windsor fire stations were sent to the scene alongside the Aerial Ladder Platform from Whitley Wood Fire Station, one Officer and crews from Buckinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service.
Upon arrival, crews discovered a fire in the upper floor of a residential property. Firefighters equipped with breathing apparatus used two hose reels and one hose reel jet to extinguish the fire.
Crews were on the scene for around three hours and 59 minutes before returning to check for hotspots.
