Property fire in Wokingham

At 11:14pm on Saturday, 10 December, we received reports of a property fire on Barkham Road, Wokingham.

Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Bracknell and Wokingham fire stations were sent to the scene.

Upon arrival, crews found a fire affecting the ground-floor living room of the property.

Two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus extinguished the fire using a hose reel, before clearing the remaining smoke with a large powered fan.

Crews were on the scene for approximately 37 minutes.
