At 8:15pm on Thursday, 1 December, we received reports of a property fire on Enborne Row, Wash Water, Newbury.
Two Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Crews from Newbury Fire Station and a crew from Theale Community Fire Station were sent to the scene.
Upon arrival, crews found a fire affecting the ground floor lounge of the property.
Four firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used two hose reels to extinguish the fire and then used a large fan to clear the remaining smoke.
Crews were on the scene for approximately two hours and 10 minutes.
