At 4:33pm on Thursday, 4 July, we received reports of a fire on Reading Road near Finchampstead.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Caversham Road and Wokingham fire stations were sent to the scene alongside a Zetros water carrier from Bracknell Fire Station.
Upon arrival, crews discovered a log pile on fire. Firefighters used one hose reel and one main jet to extinguish the fire.
Crews were at the scene for approximately one hour and 23 minutes.
