At 11:01am on Saturday, 7 September we received a call to report a fire in a flat on Washington Drive in Slough.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Slough, Windsor and Maidenhead fire stations were sent to the scene.
Upon arrival, crews discovered a fire within a kitchen. Two Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used one hose reel to extinguish the fire. The property was then ventilated and made safe by firefighters.
Crews were on the scene for around 44 minutes.
