At 7:55pm on Wednesday, 9 April, we received reports of a fire on Bath Road in Maidenhead.
Two Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Maidenhead Fire Station and one crew from Windsor Fire Station were sent to the scene.
Upon arrival, crews found a fire in the boiler of one of the flats in the property. Four firefighters equipped with breathing apparatus used one hose reel to put out the fire, before using a ventilation fan and a thermal imaging camera to clear the smoke and make the property safe.
They were on scene for approximately two hours and 35 minutes.
