At 6:32pm on Tuesday, 16 July, we received reports of a fire at Clewer New Town in Windsor.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service Crews from Bracknell, Slough and Windsor fire stations were sent to the scene alongside an Officer.
Upon arrival, firefighters discovered a fire in a block of flats. Firefighters equipped with breathing apparatus entered the property and rescued three people, providing immediate emergency care before placing them in the care of South Central Ambulance Service. Crews then used three hose reels to extinguish the fire.
Crews were at the scene for approximately two hours and 50 minutes before returning later to inspect the property for hotspots. An investigation into the cause of the fire in underway.
