At 4:20pm on Tuesday, 19 July, we received reports of a fire in the open on Dunt Lane in Hurst.
A Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crew from Wokingham Fire Station was sent to the scene, alongside one RBFRS Officer and supported by a crew from Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service.
Upon arrival, crews found a bin fire that had spread to some nearby hedges.
Crews worked to extinguish the fire using four hose reels and provided Immediate Emergency Care (IEC) to one person.
They were on the scene for around one hour and 10 minutes.
