At 9:41pm on Sunday, 21 July, we received reports of a fire on Forest Road in Bracknell.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Wokingham, Ascot, Bracknell and Whitley Wood fire stations were sent to the scene alongside an Aerial Ladder Platform from Whitley Wood Fire Station and an Officer.
Upon arrival, crews discovered a fire in a derelict building. Firefighters used two hose reels, one main jet and the Aerial Ladder Platform to extinguish the fire before using a thermal imaging camera to check for hotspots.
Crews were at the scene for approximately one hour and 57 minutes before returning later to reinspect the property.
