At 10:01pm on Sunday, 18 August, we received reports of a fire on Chilton in Hungerford.
A Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crew from Newbury Fire Station was sent to the scene.
Upon arrival, the crew discovered a fire in the open. Firefighters used one hose reel to extinguish the fire.
The crew was on the scene for around one hour and 28 minutes before returning later to check for hotspots
