At 11:44am on Wednesday, 3 July, we received reports of a fire near Mortimer Lane near Mortimer.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Caversham Road and Whitley Wood fire stations were sent to the scene.
Upon arrival, crews discovered and extinguished a fire in the open.
Crews were at the scene for approximately 35 minutes.
