At 4.19am on Thursday, 30 May, we received reports of a fire in the open on Greenham Common, Thatcham.
A Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crew from Newbury was sent to the scene.
Firefighters found a small fire in the open so used water buckets to extinguish the fire and protect the environment. Crews were on the scene for about 18 minutes.
