Fire near Wokingham

At 2:21pm on Sunday, 6 April, we received reports of a fire in the open near Wokingham.

Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Wokingham and Bracknell fire stations were sent to the scene.

Upon arrival, crews discovered a fire in the open involving a van. Firefighters equipped with breathing apparatus used one hose reel to extinguish the fire.

Crews were at the scene for approximately 45 minutes.
