At 12:26pm on Saturday, 13 August, we received reports of a fire in the open near Mitcham Road, Camberley.
A water carrier from Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service was sent to the scene to support crews from Surrey Fire and Rescue Service.
Upon arrival, crews found a large fire in the open. The water carrier was on the scene for four hours and 25 minutes.
