At 1:51am on Saturday, 29 October, we received reports of a fire at Slough Bus Station on Brunel Lane, Slough.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Wokingham Road, Wokingham, Ascot, Slough, Langley, Maidenhead, Windsor, and Theale fire stations were sent to the scene alongside an Incident Command Unit, an Aerial Ladder Platform, and two officers.
Upon arrival, crews discovered that a fire had spread to the bus station’s overhead canopy. Using four jets, two hose reels, and the Aerial Ladder Platform, firefighters equipped with breathing apparatus extinguished the fire. Crews were on the scene for approximately nine hours and 20 minutes.
