At 9:07am on Tuesday, 11 October, we received reports of a fire on Common Road in Slough.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Langley, Slough and Maidenhead fire stations were sent to the scene alongside crews from Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service, Buckinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service and the London Fire Brigade. Five Officers were also sent to the incident.
Upon arrival, crews found a fire on the fourth floor of a block of flats. Four firefighters wearing breathing apparatus entered the property and evacuated the fourth floor before extinguishing the fire and then ventilating the property.
Crews were on the scene for approximately four hours and 30 minutes.
