At 11:32am on Friday, 13 September, we received a report of an electrical fire on Marlstone Road in Hermitage.
Two Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Newbury Fire Station were sent to the scene.
Upon arrival, crews discovered an electrical pole on fire. Firefighters extinguished the fire and remained on scene until an engineer arrived.
Crews were at the scene for approximately three hour and 30 minutes.
