At 5:09pm on Monday, 1 April, we received reports of a fire on Sandhurst Road in Crowthorne.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Wokingham, Ascot, Crowthorne and Bracknell fire stations were sent to the scene alongside an incident command unit, an aerial ladder platform and two officers.
Upon arrival, crews discovered a large fire in a two-storey home. Firefighters equipped with breathing apparatus used two hose reels and three main jets to extinguish the fire before using a thermal imaging camera to check for further hotspots.
Crews were at the scene for approximately five hours and 11 minutes before returning the following morning to reinspect the property.
