At 8:41am on Wednesday, 5 June, we received reports of a fire on Loxwood in Earley.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Caversham Road, Wokingham Road, Wokingham and Whitley Wood were sent to the scene alongside an Officer.
Upon arrival, crews discovered a fire in a cooker extraction vent. Firefighters used one hose reel jet to extinguish the fire and provided safety guidance to the occupants.
Crews were at the scene for approximately one hour and 10 minutes.
