At 10:17pm on Saturday, 30 March, we received reports of a fire on Ashton Place in Kintbury.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Newbury and Theale fire stations were sent to the scene alongside an Officer.
Upon arrival, crews discovered a kitchen fire. Firefighters equipped with breathing apparatus ushed two hose reels to extinguish the fire before using a fan to ventilate smoke from the property. Three people were taken into the care of South Central Ambulance Service.
Crews were at the scene for approximately one hour and 16 minutes before returning the following morning to reinspect the property.
