Fire in Slough

At 11:50 on Tuesday, 30 April, we received reports of a fire on Rochfords Gardens in Slough.

Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue service crews from Slough and Langley fire stations were sent to the scene alongside two Officers, one of whom was from Oxfordshire County Council Fire and Rescue Service.

Upon arrival, crews discovered a fire in a two-storey building. Firefighters equipped with breathing apparatus used two hose reels to extinguish the fire before ventilating the property with a fan.

Crews were at the scene for approximately five hours and 30 minutes before handing over to Thames Valley Police.
