At 7.13pm on Monday, 27 May, we received reports of a fire at a house on Hinksey Close, Slough.
Two Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Slough and crews from Langley and Windsor were sent to the scene, together with two Officers.
Upon arrival, firefighters found a fire in a ground floor kitchen. Four firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used two hose reels and one covering jet to extinguish the fire.
Before crews arrival, one woman was rescued from the property by neighbours and she was placed into the care of South Central Ambulance Service.
Crews were on the scene for about three hours, before returning for a reinspection. A fire investigation will be completed to determine the cause of the fire.
