At 10:59am on Monday, 12 December, we received reports of a property fire on Wychwood Crescent, Earley.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Wokingham, Wokingham Road, and Ascot fire stations were sent to the scene, alongside one RBFRS Officer.
Upon arrival, crews found a car fire in the garage attached to the property.
Two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus extinguished the fire using one hose reel, before clearing the remaining smoke with a large powered fan.
Crews also provided Immediate Emergency Care (IEC) to one person.
Crews were on the scene for approximately 56 minutes.
