At 1:41pm on Saturday, 16 April, we received reports of a fire at industrial building in Westbrook, Newbury.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service (RBFRS) crews from Newbury, Theale and two Officers were sent to the scene, together with crews from Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service.
Firefighters found a fire involving possible pyrotechnics and fireworks, which they brought under control. Cordons are in place and people are urged to stay away from the area while emergency services deal with this fire.

Crews remain on scene dealing with this fire. No casualties have been reported at this time.

Firefighting operations have been scaled back, but a cordon remains in place at the site. The M4 J13-J14 has reopened but please continue to stay clear of the area directly affected if possible.
