At 3:49pm on Wednesday, 12 June, we received reports of a fire on New Road in Slough.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Slough, Langley and Windsor fire stations were sent to the scene.
Upon arrival, crews discovered that there had been a small kitchen fire. Whilst the fire was out on arrival, firefighters still provided immediate emergency care to one person before placing them in the care of South Central Ambulance Service. Crews then used a fan to ventilate smoke from the property.
Crews were at the scene for approximately 40 minutes.
