At 2.23pm on Thursday, 29 August, we were called by South Central Ambulance Service (SCAS), to assist at an incident on Ardler Road, Caversham.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Caversham Road Fire Station and the Aerial Ladder Platform from Whitley Wood Fire Station were sent to the scene.
Firefighters rescued one person during the incident and placed them into the care of South Central Ambulance Service, and were on scene for approximately one hour and 27 minutes.
