At 10:21am on Thursday, 27 June, we received reports of an incident on Western Avenue in Newbury.
Two Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Newbury Fire Station were sent to the scene.
Upon arrival, crews discovered two people trapped on a hydraulic platform. Firefighters used the platform’s failsafe system to rescue both people.
Crews were at the scene for approximately 10 minutes.
