At 6:23pm on Friday, 27 September, we received a report of an incident on Bridge Street in Reading.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Caversham Road and Whitley Wood fire stations were sent to the scene.
Upon arrival, crews discovered four people trapped within a lift. Firefighters released the people from the lift and made the scene safe.
Crews were on the scene for around 22 minutes.
