At 6:56am on Sunday, 25 August, we received a call from Thames Valley Police to a report of a person trapped in a lift on Church Street in Reading.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Theale and Wokingham fire stations were sent to the scene.
Firefighters released the individual from the lift and isolated power to the lift, before handing over.
Crews were on the scene for around 5 minutes.
