Fire in Slough

At 2:07pm on Saturday, 29 June, we received reports of a fire on Furlong Drive in Slough.

Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Slough, Langley, Maidenhead and Ascot fire stations were sent to the scene alongside an Officer and crews from Buckinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service.

Upon arrival, crews discovered a large roof fire. Firefighters equipped with breathing apparatus used two main jets and an aerial ladder platform from Buckinghamshire Fire and Rescue to extinguish the fire.

Crews were at the scene for approximately two hours and 52 minutes before returning later to inspect for hotspots.
