At 5:39pm on Saturday, 21 September, we received a report of a house fire on Carpenters Close in Newbury.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Newbury and Theale fire stations were sent to the scene.
Upon arrival, crews discovered a fire in the kitchen of a property. Firefighters used one hose reel jet and a CO2 extinguisher to extinguish the fire/ Firefighters then used a fan to ventilate smoke from the property.
Crews were on the scene for around 40 minutes.
