At 7:26am on Wednesday, 4 September, we received a report of a house fire on Liverpool Road in Reading.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Wokingham Road, Caversham Road and Whitley Wood fire stations were sent to the scene.
Upon arrival, crews discovered a fire in the kitchen. Firefighters used one CO2 extinguisher to extinguish the fire. Firefighters then provided first aid to one iperson before placing them in the care of South Central Ambulance Service and then they ventilated the property.
Crews were on the scene for around 43 minutes.
