At 12:31pm on Monday, 1 August, we received reports of a road traffic collision on the northbound carriageway of the A34 near Chieveley.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Newbury and Whitley Wood fire stations were sent to the scene, alongside the Animal and Water Rescue Unit.
Upon arrival, crews found a road traffic collision involving two cars and a lorry.
Firefighters rescued one person from a vehicle, before placing them into the care of South Central Ambulance Service.
Crews were on the scene for around two hours and five minutes.
