At 12.22pm on Tuesday, 27 September, we received a call from Thames Valley Police to a report of a road traffic collision on Andover Road in Newbury.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Newbury and Theale and two officers were sent to the scene.
Upon arrival, crews provided immediate emergency care to one person and placed them into the care of South Central Ambulance Service.
Crews were on the scene for around 48 minutes.
Sadly, the man died as a result of his injuries. Our thoughts are with his family and friends at this difficult time. Thames Valley Police have launched an appeal for witnesses or dash cam footage from the scene.
