At 8:36am on Saturday, 8 June, we received reports of a road traffic collision on Pipers Way in Thatcham.
Two Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Newbury Fire Station were sent to the scene alongside a Heavy Rescue Unit from Theale Community Fire Station and an Officer.
Upon arrival, crews discovered a collision involving three vehicles. Firefighters rescued one person from a vehicle before placing them in the care of South Central Ambulance Service.
Crews were at the scene for approximately two hours.
