Road Traffic Collision in Thatcham

At 11:19am on Wednesday, 12 March, we received a call from South Central Ambulance Service to reports of a road traffic collision on Crookham Hill in Thatcham.

Two Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Newbury Fire Station were sent to the scene, alongside one Officer.

Upon arrival, crews found one car in a ditch that had collided with a tree. Crews released one person who was medically trapped and placed them in the care of South Central Ambulance Service, before handing the scene over to Thames Valley Police.

They were on scene for approximately one hour and three minutes.
